Wordpress Tips And Tricks
Learning how to use Wordpress can be a difficult process if you have not been shown how to use it properly. If you spend enough time using any software then you will eventually begin to learn how to navigate around it, although my role here is to help you with a head start so you can get blogging right now.
Wordpress is an awesome tool to have at your disposal, and knowing how to use it effectively from the beginning will increase your chances of success online. Today, I made a set of six Wordpress tuition videos, that will give you a great insight into the program and have you setting up your own blog right away without any trouble. When learning how to use Wordpress, the most important thing is to just get in there and play around with all the settings in the admin panel, as you will soon learn from your mistakes.
Wordpress Video Tutorial Series
The set of six video tutorials will give you a fairly methodical blueprint for getting your Wordpress blog styled and optimised to your liking, and to the search engines likings as well. The Wordpress videos will cover the following topics:
- Introduction to the Wordpress Dashboard
- How to change and activate Wordpress Themes
- How to upload, install, and activate Wordpress Plugins
- Using and making Widgets for your sidebars
- How to write a post or article
- How to change and optimise your Wordpress settings
All the above videos are made for version 2.7 of Wordpress, and the current version at time of writing is 2.7.1, which is visually similar to the previous version. To get your six free videos, simply enter your email and name over in the sidebar, and you will be emailed the links where the videos reside. Each video goes for about five minutes, so there is plenty of great content so you can begin learning how to use Wordpress right away and get your blog online and share with the world your talents.
