Make a Landing page In Wordpress
Over the last 9 years or so, I have taught myself how to use Macromedia Dreamweaver (now Adobe) with varying success. I have created plenty of websites in this time, although not being a designer by trade or by want, I have always felt that they lacked somewhat due to my own technical shortcomings. Then along comes Wordpress and makes my life so much easier when it comes to creating just not a website, but the all important sales letter. In Dreamweaver this can be a full on nightmare, and I can see why product creators would spend thousands of dollars getting a pro designer to build the sales page.
Enter the Wordpress Sales Letter
A few months ago, I got my hands on a special Wordpress theme that is actually a sales letter template . The real beauty of this theme is that the Wordpress theme is actually a sub theme, meaning that it will sit within your existing theme, so when you create the sales letter, you can select the sub theme for just that page. Now that is pretty impressive, and opens up a lot of opportunity for those Internet marketers who want to create their own sales letters, yet until now did not have either the money or the skills to build one.
Now the theme I got my hands on was good, although I have made it so much better, and so much more versatile. Basically I got in and saw the bits I liked, and then built a completely new theme designed specifically to the Affiliate Marketer. I am using this theme myself on some affiliate sites that I have, and the results are amazing to say the least. Well, that’s my opinion and I am sticking to it.
Why Use a Wordpress Sales Letter
The reason to use a Wordpress sales letter are many, although let’s start with ease of use. If you can use a visual editor like the one in your Wordpress Admin panel, then you can now create a quality and professional looking sales letter. You can also create one in no time flat, as compared with days or weeks in a traditional editor.
Google loves Wordpress, and this is going to help you not just with organic listings, but also if and when you use your sales letters in a PPC campaign. You can readily optimise your sales letter with onpage SEO and reap the benefits of a lower cost per click. If you use Wordpress, then you know just how easy it is to do some simple onpage SEO that will make a huge difference to your SERP’s.
Adding media is really easy in Wordpress, and with flash video integration become the standard these days, it is as simple as installing a free to use plug in, and you have your video there. No playing around with Java Script or hand-coding players in to your HTML any more.
Speaking of Wordpress Plugins, with just a few other freely available plugins, you can have the mother of all sales letters making you money in a very short amount of time.

At the moment, I am not making this available for download. I still have some changes to the CSS file to make, and also to create a “how to use” guide to make it easy for users to install and get on with the job. It will not be too far away though. This is a great peace of information and something that i would find very helpful. to have a sales page set up and ready to go would be very handy.

I worked some great deal of time to integrate some sales pages to my site at http://diuc.wordpress.com. Your idea sounds brilliant. I think, the theme could be possibly translated to other langauges from the wordpress panel, am I not right?
