Chances are if you are reading my articles, you are interested in making money online. It could be that you just want to make enough to pay for your hosting fees and a domain name, or to make a few extra dollars to add to your existing income. Then again, there will be some here who want to make a six figure income from their blogging skills. Whatever it is that you want, the good news is that you can achieve your financial goals through blogging. When people first think about making money from blogging, Google Adsense usually comes to mind. For the majority of bloggers out there, Adsense will make them their hosting fees for the year, perhaps. For the minority, Adsense will make them money, and a lot of it. There are strategies out there to make money directly from Adsense with blogs that are in truth absolutely useless to the reader (you) and trick people into clicking blue links, and I’m not into that sort of thing. If you write a quality blog however, with a lot of traffic, then Adsense is a great way to make a lot of money, consistantly.
That’s the thing with Adsense and blogging, you require a lot of traffic, and even more so because the majority of your traffic you have if you have loyal followers and have quality content, will not click on the Adsense links. It will be the click through traffic who are not sure what they want that will click on those blue links.
Making Money By Selling Ad Space
Another way you can begin making money from blogging, is to sell advertising space on your blog. Before you get excited, do you have the traffic for your blog to be seen as an attractive proposition by perspective advertisers. If you get 1000 visitors per month, it is going to be tough to sell a 125 x 125 ad for anything at all. Got 100,000 visitors per month, and we are talking a very different story. The short of it, get a tonne of traffic and selling off your small ad’s in your sidebar could become a very lucrative stream of income.
Selling Your Affiliate Offer
This seems to be the most popular, and it is one that I began doing myself. It can pay very well, if you know what you are doing. The trick here is to provide top quality content (see a common theme happening here?) and have your affiliate offer on the side. You can blatantly write articles about your affiliate offer, or you could have it a little bit more discreet. Does not matter too much, although providing awesome content, and both ways will work equally as well in my experience.
Tie this in with doing some strategic SEO, and you could have a very good recipe for making money from blogging. Take a look around on the Internet, and this has become so popular that it blows me away. People and businesses are not doing this for fun, they are making a lot of money, and it appears to be a sustainable source of income for some time to come. In my humble opinion, this is a winner, so jump on board.
Blogging Brings Opportunity
Personally, this is my main aim in blogging. Blogging has opened so many doors that I can not tell you, and with doors opening so much, it brings money and wealth. Don’t get me wrong here, my main motivation is not money, it is opportunity to enhance my life and expand the experience’s that I have had. When you begin blogging and people start to take notice of your quality content, then you will be approached with opportunities. These opportunities could be from time wasters every so often, although they could also be from a serious person or entity that could change your life very, very quickly.
Initially it could start by being asked to do a guest post on someone elses blog, or someone in your niche loves what you are writing about and offers you exclusive rights to their product for you to advertise on your site. The possibilities ate absolutely endless here, so it is difficult to even try to fathom the ways that these opportunities can materialise. The sky, is really the limit.

What I have just shared with you, is just the tip of the iceberg to begin making money from blogging, although it is a great start. If you blog about what you are passionate about, and mix it up with some great SEO strategies, then you can be assured that you can make it very worth your while to blog. It’s great to blog, although we must value our time and assign a dollar figure to that too.
