Does An Internet Marker Need An iPhone
Yes, if you are serious about being an Internet or Affiliate Marketer, then an iPhone (or equivalent) is more a need than a luxury. I sat back for quite some time before recently biting the bullet and getting one of my own. It has opened a lot more freedom and opportunity to say the least, although if you are not careful, that freedom could quickly be sucked away.
So what is so special about Internet Marketing with an iPhone you may ask. Although you probably will not be building websites and PPC campaigns from it, you can certainly update and manage your day to day tasks on one, and you only need to have a 3G connection of use free wi-fi if you are in a hotspot. This gives me a lot more freedom in where I work on a day to day basis, and I find working down by a beach side cafe or an inner city coffee shop to be more beneficial to my creative juices, rather than being stuck in my home office. And with weather as great as we have been getting over here in Perth lately, that makes it even better.
No iPhone is complete until a suite of freely available apps have been installed though. Social Media apps are first to be used, and Facebook and Twitter are at the forefront here. Very easy to use and navigate around too. If you are building a brand around your self as an Internet Marketer, then it can be important to let the world know about what you are up to and the interesting things you do. Now you can use Social Media to your hearts content where ever you choose.
There are also all the other features of an iPhone that are not really important from an Internet Marketing angle, yet they are very fun. Just don’t let them rob you of your time by playing around too much, you really have to watch that.
The freedom that Internet marketing with an iPhone brings is phenomenal, and this in turn allows you to get out and build more offline relationships. Personally, I see the offline business relationships are paramount to forging strong future online business relationships. Working behind a screen all day using Social Media and the telephone to stay in touch is great, yet I do not see how you can build a trusting partnership or Joint Venture unless you can sit down and have a cup of coffee with them at some stage.
So that is my initial opinion of Internet Marketing with an iPhone. It would be great to get some feedback from you about your experiences with this piece of technology.
