New Google Search Options

Google Search Options Have Changed

In case you have not noticed, there are now some new Google Search Options that are not only making life easier for the average Google user, yet also making the possibilities for an Internet Marketer much more viable, providing you know how to give Google what it wants.

The new Google search options are broken down into various categories, and include segregation of Videos, Forums, Reviews. Also, there is a search filter, that will allow you to define how fresh the content is. Looking for something written in the last 24 hours or last week, then you can filter it. Perhaps something in the last week or year, yep, you can define that too.

Moving along with the new search filters, we have a standard results view, results with some images displayed, and even more text results. This is a cool feature that many end users will love, as an image speaks 1000 words. Images are however, just some of the new search features from Google.

The related searches features brings up some very good keyphrase prompts that will enable the searcher to refine their search to what it is they are really looking for. From an Internet Marketers point of view, this is a great and easy way to get some long tail keywords that you could work into your blog posts and website articles. Google are telling us that people are searching for these things, so who are we to think we know more than them !

Google Search Wonder Wheel

This is an awesome feature, especially for the Online Marketer, and it is an expansion of the related searches filter. This filter is a visual and interactive tool, that allows you to refine your search and branch out in to many different directions, just like the spider web that is the Internet. Again from an Internet Marketing point of view, take notice guys, and use what Google is offering you. You do not need to be Einstein to work this stuff and realise the potential.

Still in the Google Wonder Wheel section, and you will notice as you browse through the interactive tool, search results will come up along the right hand side, where the advertisements used to be. This is really cool, have I mentioned that?

The Google Search Timeline

Now we get down to the feature at the bottom of the page, and this is the Google Timeline. This is great from finding archives of information that have now been converted to electronic records, such as Newspapers and the like. I have not had a really good play with this feature, although I’m sure that for many people including researchers and budding historians, this feature would be an absolute godsend.

So in a nutshell, that’s an overview of the new Google Search Options, and in my eyes it just offers so much more value to not only the average Google searcher, but the Internet and Affiliate Marketer too. These tools are there to be used, and Google is telling us we can use them to our advantage. Like everything with Google, they want to give the searches exactly what they are looking for in as least steps as possible, so now you too can modify your work and supply quality content and get ranked in all the right places as quickly as possible too.
