Fire FTP Firefox Addon

As an Internet Marketer and someone who uses the online world a lot, life without Mozilla Firefox would be very challenging and frustrating. I’ll write a full article soon explaining why you need Firefox over Internet Explorer, although for now, I want to introduce you to, and teach you how to use  Fire FTP Firefox Addon.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is moving files from your hard drive, to a remote server like your web host, and pulling them back to your local hard drive if you require, in order to edit files in a safe environment. There are other reasons too, although this is the main one. Using FTP is very easy, and although it can look technical, do not be put off by this process. If you want to be an Internet Marketer then you must master this skill early in the game.

There have been many FTP Clients (software) come and go over the years, and some cost money and others like Filezilla have been free. Filezilla is a great tool to have, although since finding Fire FTP Firefox Addon I have never looked back. The best way to show you how to use it is by doing a video tutorial, so here we go.

So that is how to use Fire FTP Firefox Addon. FTP is not scary and if you are serious about having an online presence then it is a must know skill. Get in and play around and transfer some files from your remote server to your hard drive. Just remember, you are only transferring a copy of the file, not the file itself, so you will not suddenly remove your web site’s index or homepage.

One thing you must be aware of though, is that if you modify the file on your local computer, and then transfer it back to your server, it will overwrite the remote file. A warning box will appear before the transfer happens though, so all is good. I hope you enjoyed learning how to use Fire FTP Firefox Addon.
